OUR MISSION
The mission of the Scouts BSA is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
Scouting can be a very rewarding life-long journey that can begin at any time, and can start as early as Kindergarten. Unit 4 can support your entire family with Cub Scouts Pack 4 from K-5th and Troop 4 from 6th grade and beyond. Furthermore, with weekly meetings open to all of our K-12 community and their families, you can join anytime to learn more before registering. We meet every week during the Asheville City Schools calendar school year, taking a break during the Summer and focusing on optional trips & adventures.
